2023 UNDER 16 HANDICAP CHAMPION(CLEGHORN CUP) – AARON KENNEALLY (DUNS) 78-20=58

 

 

 

2023 UNDER 14 HANDICAP CHAMPION (DICKSON SALVER) – AYDEN HEWITSON (TORWOODLEE) 90-30-68

 

The 2023 Border Boys Championships were contested over Torwoodlee Golf Course on Sunday 13th Aug with some 20 competitors from all over the borders taking part. In good conditions the Under 18 (Hart Cup) Scratch event was won by Gregor Brydon of Torwoodlee with a superb 3 under par 66 defending his 2022 title by a winning margin of 2 over Kaylen Martin of Duns who also shot a great 1 under 68.

In the under 16 event (Cleghorn Trophy) Aaron Kenneally from Duns shot a 78-20=58 which was the lowest nett score on the day.

In the under 14 event (Dickson Salver) Ayden Hewitson (Torwoodlee) won carding a 90-30=60.

The BGA wishes to thank Torwoodlee for hosting the event , the course was in excellent  condition.
